[ As silly as it was, Sheryl was feeling pretty cheery from that secret. She waited for Kamina by the front of her hotel, hoping that he'd actually wear appropriate clothing (i.e. a shirt) as she tapped her foot, humming to herself. This was a songwriting sort of mood. She was wearing her usual getup of aviators and a floppy hat; the sun had mostly set by now, but she liked being able to go around unrecognized. ]

[scratches at head] That's a dumb way ta do it. So this really says, "The great Kamina-sama". Hey! [brightens up and grins at her] That's me!

Me? [rubs the back of his neck] It ain't gonna look as good as your writing...but that's what learning is for! So you keep doing better until you kick ass at whatever you're working for! [puts pencil to paper and takes forever to get something down, but eventually 'KAMINA LIKES BURGERS' is formed in huge, slanting letters.]

then boredom strikes.

he gets up to better investigate the room; peek into the closet, look out the window, fail in his attempts to open it, that sort of thing. quiet times are not acceptable when you are in a shiny, new place.]

[ she's turned the television on for background noise, and just watches him, chuckling a bit ] Don't you know you're not supposed to look in girls' closets?

Nope. [looks inside the closet yet again for good measure then plops himself down in front of sheryl's chair for some TV. he loves the idea of it, but the chance to indulge is rare, being soul society and all.

then the commercial comes on. you know which commercial i mean; the perfume one where she snaps her fingers and the fish jump out of the ocean.

kamina stares slackjawed at the screen.] ...Sheryl, that's the weirdest thing I ever saw.

[ She leans over and rests her arms on his head as a rest for her chin ] What are you talking about? It's attention-grabbing! You'll definitely remember it, won't you?

[he cranes his head up as far as he can and says with a serious expression:] I'm gonna remember you in a bikini and the rest of it bein' crazy weird.
