[ Sheryl waited outside on a park bench not too far from the hotel, soaking up the sun as much as her floppy hat and sunglasses allowed. It was a rare free day for her, and while relaxation was nice, she couldn't stand being bored-- and that cheeky little kid seemed like he'd be more than entertaining to explore the dome with. ]

You can fly when we get to the observatory, they don't seem to be that popular. There wasn't anyone there the last time I visited.

[ takes a napkin and wipes it off, she's indulging a big sister whim today ] Zentradi are, oh, giants, eight or nine meters tall! So their food must be huge as well, right?

Not here, do these streets look giant-sized? At least, hmm... [ she points to a few people in turn ] Blue hair, business suit! There's one. That girl with the pink's probably mixed, she doesn't have the ears. Blonde hair over there, you can see the roots, she's bleached the purple out. Now~ What's wrong with all that?

They're not giants! Didn't I say the Zentradi were giants? [ is clearly enjoying this way too much ]

[ kawaii kitten-chan desu ] They micronize! They can shrink themselves down to the size of a normal human. I've heard that on the outlying islands there's enough space for them to live at their proper size, but I've never had the chance to visit.

[ hairruffle ] I know, it's like magic! I've only been on the parts of the dome ships that are human-sized before, so this time I'm going to see the Zentradi sections, no matter what! Oh, and watch your tail, this is an escalator! [ hello impossibly long staircase it's a good thing you can move ]

My manager! She always gets so nervous when I go out, even though I'm always back in time for work. [ the lights get dimmer as they get lower; before long they're in a closed tunnel, with lights along the ceiling ]

[ just hums a cheery little tune and doesn't answer; in the next couple of seconds the tunnel opens up again. This area has a glass dome over it as well, but there's no artificial sky; besides some gas lamps placed here and there, the only light comes from the stars. There's a fountain and plants and all the ingredients for a nice little park area, but it's empty of people right now. Fly free, little kitten ]
