I'll be staying on Frontier a little longer after all! The tour's still ended, though, so I'll have to work hard on filling my days. I need to find a good workout regimen... when I'm on tour I mostly focus on yoga, since I get so much exercise from dancing, but this body doesn't come easy, you know! And I'd like to return to the Zentradi mall, or explore more of the natural areas here! The best part about nature on Frontier is that you're never very far from civilization. ♥ Oh, and I'm sure Grace will find plenty of things for me to fill my time with, now that the tour has officially ended. TV spots, ad campaigns... I'll be so busy, the tour will seem like relaxation!

The announcer is saying: "Moving on, here is the press conference given by Sheryl Nome just moments ago."
She's standing next to her manager, in front of the cameras. ]
I believe Galaxy... no, my home, is safe. And I want to express my thanks to Frontier for taking action to save them.
[ "But they say that video, because of fold faults, was from five days ago... and some are saying that we're only attracting the attention of the Vajra." ]
So in other words, what you're saying is... "Shouldn't we just climb into bed, hold our breath, and wait for the Vajra to pass us by, leaving Galaxy to die?"
[ "No, that's..." ]
Oh, of course it isn't.
[ "U-um, in any case, considering the circumstances I assume your concert tonight is canceled, but do you have a message for--" ]
Canceled? Just who decided that!?
[ And with that, she grabs the microphone the reporter was holding, and taking the camera, directs it right at her face, smile replaced with determination ]
I'm doing the concert. And then... I'm going home to Galaxy!

In any case, the last concert of my tour is in just a few days! Should anyone want to come and see the concert, I can arrange passes for you, free of charge. Transportation is your own responsibility, but if I like you enough, I'll provide dinner before the show~ ♥

Apparently Lt. Glass has been trying to contact me; her father, the president, wants me to be a guest judge for this year's Miss Macross Frontier contest. I accepted, of course, but she sounded quite flustered. I wonder what excuses Grace made to her?
I can't help but wonder why Lt. Glass was the one assigned to me. She seems like she would be much happier commandeering a fleet than doing her father's administrative work. ♥

Apr. 9th, 2010 05:02 pm[ Sheryl waited outside on a park bench not too far from the hotel, soaking up the sun as much as her floppy hat and sunglasses allowed. It was a rare free day for her, and while relaxation was nice, she couldn't stand being bored-- and that cheeky little kid seemed like he'd be more than entertaining to explore the dome with. ]
Tiny apples. I'm banning them! Honestly, this is a dome ship, you know? If they have the resources to grow fresh fruit they should grow apples as big as possible, rather than spending time trying to make them tiny!

As for the concert yesterday, looks like there was some trouble. There's nothing but rumors going around, and I certainly don't trust rumors. The people handling things handled it! I'll keep posting streams every so often, there's nothing worse than leaving an audience disappointed.

Mar. 6th, 2010 03:27 pmIt's hard to tell how old she is; she's small and scrawny for her age, so she could be as young as six or as old as ten. A darker-skinned woman is seated on the couch next to her, brushing her damp hair gently; Sheryl, in a fluffy bathrobe, is staring at a tray of small sandwiches on the coffee table.
"It's all right," says the woman, with a gentle laugh, seeing her hunted expression. "You can eat as much as you want, and there'll be more later."
A quick look over, then back down, and she stuffs four sandwiches into her mouth at once. The woman pounds her back as she bursts out coughing, shaking her head. "Not so fast, honey. They aren't going to go anywhere. I promise."

It's now 2059, GST! I don't hope to have many successes this year, because I know I'll have them! I don't need to make resolutions, because I work hard all year round. ♥
It's traditionally a winter holiday, but the dome ships maintain a standard season. Isn't that better? Snow would be pretty to see, but imagine what it would do to my shoes! In any case, I haven't had any free time here on Nebula, so the weather wouldn't matter to me anyway. The tour's in full swing, after all!
